Did you know that Oct. 23 is iPod day?
Apparently, Apple introduced the first iPod music device on this day in 2001. And now millions of Americans use the device to listen to their music each day.
We all have favorite playlists. Mine contains an overwhelming amount of live music from Dave Matthews Band.
If the town of Severna Park were to create its own playlist, what would it look like? Here are a few suggestions.
John Mellencamp - Jack and Diane— A special toast to those who grew up in Severna Park and still live here today—married to their high school sweethearts.
Rascal Flatts - Life Is a Highway— For those of you who spend your afternoons sitting in traffic on Ritchie Highway.
Journey - Don't Stop Believing— For the small-town girls and boys around the park who have dreams of doing great things—and for those who have already done great things.
Nelly – Heart of a Champion—In honor of the defending state champion field hockey team, the state finalist girls soccer team, the current undefeated boys soccer team, and all of the very successful Severna Park High School sports teams.
John Fogerty- Centerfield — A song for the girls and boys playing Green Hornets baseball and softball.
