The great room has sitting space, a card table and views of the beautiful backyard.

Tucked away on Bellevista Court in Severna Park is a pristine, four-bedroom Colonial home complete with as many features as any homeowner could ever want.

The home at 1105 Bellevista Ct. has it all—seven bathrooms, a great room, a pool and a sports court. Two Coldwell Banker agents from the Severna Park office just sold the home for $1,850,00, making it one of the most expensive non-waterfront or water view homes sold in Anne Arundel County.

Coldwell Banker agents Jennifer Sowers and Carol Snyder sold the Bellevista home to a family coming to the area from Georgia. Once the family arrives, the features that await them behind the door are hard to describe.

Upon driving up to the home, you can tell it’s special, but the lavishness of it isn’t quite perceivable from the outside. However, the moment you step in, you know you’re looking at a one of a kind property.

Inside the home, the breakfast room, which is a fancy way to say kitchen, overlooks the home’s impressive backyard, and it is big enough to fit a large family.

The house has two spacious offices, including one attached to the master bedroom that has a balcony overlooking the great room.

“I would have to say it’s the great room that’s my favorite,” Sowers said. “I love the high ceiling, and I love that there is a balcony from the office.”

The house was renovated and expanded in 2004 to include two basements, including a wine cellar compete with a tasting area. Both basements also have their own kitchen.

While the house itself is undoubtedly unique, it sold in a nontraditional fashion as well. The home was never actually listed on the housing market—it sold too quickly.

Relator Tina Bradshaw represented the buyers of the home, and said that the house’s quick sell is definitely a good sign for the housing market.

“I think one of the keys to this selling quickly is having it renovated, updated, looking nice and having it well taken care of,” Bradshaw said. “I think that was one of the big things with this house.”

Even if your home doesn’t have a quaint sun room, outdoor kitchen and fourth-floor gym—Bradshaw said the key to selling any home is having the property well taken care of.

With 9,000 square feet of living space, one might think the home on Bellevista Court would be overwhelming, but that’s surprisingly not the case. Despite its indulgent nature, the home is actually quite cozy.

“There’s a warmth to the house,” Sowers said. “Even though it is 9,000 square feet you don’t feel overwhelmed by each room individually.”
